Cassie

Cassie and her companion pony Ginger were found in a deserted pasture. It was overgrown with weeds, and they had no access to fresh water. A concerned onlooker spent some time watching these ponies. So these two ponies were kindly saved from this situation by someone with a dog and cat rescue. Despite the best of intentions, it became apparent that the ponies’ needs could not be sustained by the dog and cat rescue.

And that’s when Wind Dancer stepped in. Cassie is a wonderfully sweet little mare who is among the first ponies to greet the volunteers when they arrive each day. She rotates part of her summer days between the small grass paddock and the dirt paddock. This helps to manage her intermittent and painful laminitis.

Cassie is now desperately looking for her very own family to love and care for her. In order to ensure we can continue to care for Cassie until she finds this, we need your financial support.
